Traditionally, luxury is associated with excess and overpricing, with excessive profit margins and decadence.

RETINA® does not stand for any of these attributes. Nevertheless, we see our products as luxury, but not in the traditional sense, rather that nowadays to have someone who listens to you and your wishes and transforms them into exactly what you want, is our vision of true luxury.

Because you deserve to be treated as a unique individual with unique wishes.

To explain this further, let us expand a little:

We are arguing for a new kind of luxury, one that is personal, because most “luxury products” these days, for all their sophistication, are nevertheless mass-produced, and we, on the other hand, see the true value in uniqueness. After all, what does a limited edition “1 of 1000” say? This luxury says: “We want you to feel special, as one of the chosen ones. But we also want to make a profit, and there is nothing wrong with duplication, except that a shortage of our product range justifies higher prices. And that’s why there are 999 other chosen ones to whom we sell the same product. After all – you are one of 1000!”

We understand this as the desire to stand out from the crowd. And our customers usually share this desire. But not in the sense of being better and more beautiful than others by surrounding themselves with expensive, shiny or loud things that say: “Look what I can afford!”.

Our aim is to represent a subtle kind of appreciation. Because just as the retina was formed before we were born, this is a symbol of inherent beauty and uniqueness that wants to say: You are unique. You are beautiful. Your true value lies within you, I accept you as you are. You don’t need a yacht to earn my love. You deserve my love because you are you, because you are you.”

The luxury here lies in the fact that RETINA jewelry carries a value that is not visible to everyone at first glance. Of course, gold, platinum and diamonds have a visible value, but you can get that at any jewelry discounter these days. But none of these pieces of jewelry are made especially for you and could be worn by anyone else.
