Rings as symbols of a unique relationship
Not only we ourselves, but also every relationship with the people around us is unique and valuable.
Relationships need time to grow. As the little prince said:
“I’m looking for friends. What does ‘tame’ mean?”
“It’s often quite neglected,” said the fox. “It means ‘getting familiar with each other’.”
“Familiarize?”
“Of course,” said the fox. “You’re just a little boy to me, a little boy like a hundred thousand others. I don’t need you. And you don’t need me either. To you, I’m just a fox among hundreds of thousands of foxes. But if you tame me, then we will need each other. You will be unique to me. And I will be unique to you in the whole world …”
Friendship or, even more intensely, a loving relationship is an expression of togetherness, the will to walk a path together, mutual support in good times, but above all in times that present us with greater challenges.
If you have found someone to accompany you on this path, this is a reason to celebrate. it does not always have to be a ceremony with a signature in front of the state.
But weddings are, of course, traditionally a promise made in front of friends and your tribe to stand together, to build something together, to be there for each other. However this is handled personally these days, such a commitment is a beautiful affirmation that you value your own and your partner’s uniqueness, and most importantly, to form a union of these two souls to create something greater.
